Compliance with laws and regulations

We are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations. We expect all employees to comply with local, national and international laws and regulations in connection with their work for Semi Staal.

Safety in the Workplace

We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace for all employees, visitors and contractors. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Respectful workplace

We are committed to creating a workplace where all employees are treated with respect and dignity. We will not tolerate any behaviour that is discriminatory, harassing or offensive. This includes behaviour based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.

Confidentiality and intellectual property

Our employees are expected to respect the confidentiality of Company information and the intellectual property of our customers. Employees must not disclose confidential information or use intellectual property without permission.

Conflicts of Interest

Employees must avoid any conflict of interest between their personal interests and the interests of the Company. Employees must inform their manager of any potential conflict of interest.

Fair Business Practices

Our manufacturing business is committed to conducting business in an ethical and fair manner. We will not tolerate any form of bribery, corruption or unethical behaviour in our business transactions.

Responsibility for the environment

We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our manufacturing activities. We expect all employees to act in an environmentally responsible manner, including by reducing waste and conserving resources.

Reporting violations

Any employee who observes or suspects a violation of this Code of Conduct or applicable laws or regulations must report it to his or her manager or to the Company’s Compliance Officer.

Consequences of Violations

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

By following this Code of Conduct, we can ensure that we operate with integrity, respect and accountability.
