SEMI STAAL was founded in 1972. Back then, Denmark was our primary market, where we mainly worked in the food sector, developing washing systems for returnable packaging such as boxes, pallets, trolleys, tubs, racks, etc. Today, we operate worldwide and have expanded our business areas to include the hospital sector and the pharmaceutical industry.
In 2013, the company was handed over to the third generation of the family and it is still with the same goal of producing simple solutions that make it easy for our customers to strengthen food safety, improve hygiene, and break the chain of infection while creating better working environments. We have the expertise to provide you with the optimal solution in terms of needs, quality and environment.
Since partnering with SonoSteam, a division of Force Technology, in 2012, we have integrated SonoSteam disinfection technology into our bed and mattress cleaning and disinfection solutions. When disinfecting contact surfaces such as hospital mattresses and plastic boxes, the technology has proven a significant reduction of microorganisms in seconds. SonoSteam disinfection is performed with steam and ultrasound – quickly and safely.
In October 2021, we added Brygge Partners to our circle of owners to ensure SEMI STAAL’s continued growth.
