SEMI-STAAL wins large contract in Norway

SEMI-STAAL wins a large project for a full automatic washing plant and internal logistic system for crates with a leading meat processor in Norway.

A project involving more than 4.000 man hours for bulding a full automatic crate handling, – washing and transport system for 3.000 crates/ hour is currently under construction at SEMI-STAAL’s premises in Elsingore, Denmark.

The project entails the following functions:

- Depalletizing of crates
- De-stacking of crates
- Orientation of crates
- Washing of crates through a 4 stage HACCP designed washer with
automatic belt filter systems and high pressure section for label removal
- Drying of crates
- Feeding of crates to packing stations or stacking and palletizing of
crates

The plant is scheduled for installation Febuary 2011.
